WHY WE EXIST

South 806 is opening its doors in Lamesa to make everyday goods affordable, invest in local youth, and give neighbors a place to serve one another. The thrift store is where it starts. A resource center for Dawson County is where it's going.

Lamesa is a close-knit community, and it deserves a place built for more than shopping. A place where people can find what they need, share what they know, and invest in the next generation together.

OUR VISION FOR DAWSON COUNTY

The Resource Center we’re building

South 806 was given a building and a van to get started, and we are turning that gift into a full community resource center for Lamesa and Dawson County.

The center will house our thrift store alongside space for donation sorting and washing, partnerships with local schools and organizations, and programs where adults, elders, and local businesses can teach young people practical, everyday skills.
